HARVEST:
As part of our new branding, the packaging for our Single Origin coffees is being redesigned to create a stronger visual connection between each coffee’s country of origin and the Harvest identity.
ISLAND12:
To highlight the distinctive heritage of each Single Origin coffee, we selected a culturally significant and recognizable image as the key visual for each package. To ensure a cohesive look that aligns with Harvest's new branding, we employed a black-blue-white color palette and an abstract illustration style that merges organic shapes and patterns.
For Ethiopia Single Origin, we chose the striking image of a woman from the Mursi and Suri tribes of the Surma ethnic group, known for their traditional lip plates—symbols of beauty and identity. Her depiction incorporates fluid shapes and intricate patterns, visually connecting to Harvest’s brand aesthetic. This creative approach extends to other Single Origin coffees as well: Brazil Single Origin features a toucan, an iconic symbol of the region’s rich biodiversity. Colombia Single Origin showcases a stylized pre-Columbian deity, paying tribute to the country’s deep-rooted cultural heritage.
The key visuals provide strong shelf presence, capturing consumer attention, while the distinctive typography and minimalistic icons deliver essential product information. This results in a well-balanced, unified design that is both visually compelling and brand-aligned. Through this thoughtful design approach, each package tells a visual story, seamlessly blending cultural authenticity with the essence of the Harvest brand.
