HARVEST:
We crafted an extraordinary Espresso Blend using coffee varieties sourced from selected micro-farms across Latin America. The distinct microclimates and cultivation techniques of these regions impart a unique cup profile characterized by exquisite flavors and rich aromas. To complement this blend, we sought a name and packaging design that aligns seamlessly with our new branding.

The vibrant cultures of Latin America, particularly their pre-Columbian civilizations, inspired the creative direction for the new Harvest Espresso Blend packaging. Drawing inspiration from the deities of these ancient cultures, we envisioned our own deity and named it Moon God. This name and design aim to honor the origins of the blend while creating a cultural connection to the rich heritage of pre-Columbian societies, where religion and spirituality were deeply woven into daily life.
In these cultures, the natural world and its phenomena were often deified and celebrated through art. Their artistic expressions served as acts of reverence, admiration, and attempts to translate the supernatural into tangible forms. Inspired by this tradition, the packaging’s centerpiece is a custom "moon deity" that embodies these themes, bringing the spirit of Latin America to life.
The design incorporates organic, ethnic, and tribal visual elements that align with the updated Harvest Coffee Roasters brand identity. The "moon deity" serves as the focal point, while a clean and legible typography paired with intuitive icons ensures that product details are communicated effectively. The packaging’s vibrant color palette—featuring a dynamic blend of white, blue, black, and orange—enhances the visual impact of the design.
Beyond its cultural and artistic references, the packaging’s overall aesthetic strengthens the product’s storytelling, adding depth to its narrative and reinforcing its visual appeal. The result is a design that not only celebrates heritage and craftsmanship but also commands attention on the shelf, ensuring strong stopping power.
