RODIA TSEVA:
Our spirit reveals intense pomegranate notes, a smooth, lingering finish, and a bouquet brimming with rich red fruit aromas. It pairs beautifully with a variety of cheeses, fresh fruits, and cured meats, as well as dishes featuring gently sweet-and-sour red sauces. After the first glass, the desire for a second—and even a third—is almost inevitable.
ISLAND12:
Upon tasting the spirit, we found it to be remarkably moreish—its balanced profile evokes a compelling desire for another glass. This irresistible allure inspired the concept of seduction, which felt inherently aligned with the product’s character. Drawing from the origin of the spirit—pomegranates—we revisited the evocative Greek myth of Persephone, who was tempted by Hades with pomegranate seeds.
We named the product “2 KOSMOI” (Greek for “Two Worlds”, pronounced “dio kosmi”), referencing Persephone’s dual existence—spending half the year on Earth and the other half in the Underworld. To support the narrative, we designed a bespoke logotype in bold typography that, in conjunction with the main visual, conveys the tension and balance between these two realms.
The main visual features a minimalist linear illustration that distills the essence of the myth. The two central figures stand both together and apart, divided by a slender line—symbolically capped with two pomegranates. This line functions not only as a narrative element but also as a subtle divider between Earth and the Underworld. Upon closer look, the three-headed dog Cerberus, guardian of the Underworld, also appears—an iconic nod that reinforces the mythological depth of the concept.
To envelop the concept in a fitting mood, we selected a sleek black bottle. This choice creates a striking contrast with the illustration and amplifies the design’s shelf impact, enhancing the wine’s presence and mystery.
