SMOKE CIGAR STORE:
The time has come for our store to introduce a unique line of cigars, produced in collaboration with expert cigar makers from Latin America. We proudly present five distinctive cigars, each with a name that reflects its character:
“The Rising Phoenix”, inspired by the mythical creature that rises from its ashes, symbolizes the cigar’s dynamic, evolving, and enduring flavor.
“Ikona”, from the Greek word “εικόνα” (icon), refers to the ritualistic craftsmanship behind this cigar and the inner sense of well-being its flavor evokes.
“Tarantula” entices with its indulgent, rich taste and captivating aroma—wrapping the smoker in a web of pleasure.
“Concepción”, named after the active volcano in Nicaragua where the cigar is produced, is defined by its “explosive” flavor and ashy undertones.
“Kyklopas”, inspired by the Cyclops of Greek mythology, reflects the strong, bold character and full flavor of this exceptional cigar.
Each cigar should be accompanied by a band that visually captures its unique story and essence.
ISLAND12:
Drawing inspiration from the cigars’ names, their flavor profiles, and origin stories, we created five distinctive cigar bands—each with its own style and visual narrative.
For “Ikona”, the name reflects the cigar’s reverent, traditional production—akin to a sacred ritual, from cultivation to final rolling. The taste evokes clarity and upliftment. We translated this into a design resembling stained glass windows in temples—illuminating both space and spirit. The band honors the tobacco plant, the natural elements that nourish it, and the fire that transforms it into a timeless pleasure.
“The Rising Phoenix” features a bold, artistic rendering of the legendary bird, radiating movement and intensity—mirroring the cigar’s complex, evolving flavor. A warm palette of reds and blues enhances the themes of rebirth and fire.
With “Kyklopas”, we focused on the one defining trait of the mythical creature—its singular eye. The band’s style and palette are inspired by ancient Greek red- and black-figure pottery, reinforcing the mythological and robust nature of the cigar.
“Concepción” is depicted through a minimalist volcano illustration, referencing the cigar’s birthplace in Nicaragua. Retro design cues and a warm palette emphasize both its authenticity and the enduring tradition of cigar craftsmanship.
Lastly, “Tarantula” is represented through a luxurious design—a golden spider against a deep metallic purple background, brought to life with hot foil stamping. This highlights the cigar’s rich aroma and indulgent, high-end experience.
