SPAROZA:
We developed a series of ready-made spice blends inspired by beloved traditional Greek recipes and iconic dishes. Each mix is personified by a distinctive character — an ambassador who represents the essence of the recipe, both visually and in name. These blends are designed for distribution across traditional delicatessens and tourist destinations throughout Greece, as well as in select international delicatessens.

Our primary creative objective was to establish a strong visual link between each mix and its name and flavor profile, by bringing the ambassador characters to life. For example, the Tyrokafteri Mix is represented by a cheesemaker, the Tzatziki Mix by a grandmother, and the Salad Mix by a farmer — each character thoughtfully chosen to embody the origins and spirit of the dish.
The illustration style is intentionally simple and familiar, evoking the kind of casual doodles we all make in the margins of notebooks or alongside handwritten recipes. This approach resonates across generations, making the product accessible to anyone with a passion for cooking — whether young or old.
To reinforce this warm, handmade feeling, we used a vibrant and cheerful color palette tailored to each mix and character. The typography mimics a handwritten style, recalling family recipe cards passed down through generations.
Together with the illustrations, this creates an inviting, homey aesthetic that clearly communicates both the personality and purpose of each blend — fun, flavorful, and rooted in tradition.
