Each Sparoza blend has its own distinctive flavor profile and character. To express this individuality, we personified each product by giving it a unique illustrated face.
For the Mediterranean Blend series—rich in classic Mediterranean ingredients and ideal for Mediterranean cuisine—we created the joyful face of a girl with unmistakable Mediterranean features.
The Fleur de Sel series is represented by the rugged face of a seawolf, evoking the raw, sea-salt essence of the blends. For the Mulled Wine blend, we imagined a snobbish waiter whose expression and posture humorously reflect the cozy indulgence of the product.
To enrich the storytelling, each package features a triangular cut-out window that reveals the blend inside—reminiscent of the iconic pyramid-shaped spice mounds found in Greek suburban markets. This window is placed atop the illustrated characters' heads. In the case of the Mulled Wine blend, which contains sachets, the design instead shows the final beverage elegantly presented on a tray balanced on the waiter’s head.
To emphasize our Greek heritage, we photographed a lime-washed wall—a traditional and widely used architectural feature in Greece—and used this image as the packaging backdrop. The paper choice also mimics the texture of this surface, further reinforcing the connection to Greek culture and craft.
Color palettes and visual cues vary across series, helping to differentiate each product line while maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
